THE OTHER SIDE OF AIR was actively supported by a Project Steering Group with representation from various sectors and community groups in Inverness. Chaired by The Very Rev Alex Gordon, this group was pivotal from the outset in terms of recruiting and selecting the resident artists, being involved in the interview process and helping to realise and promote subsequent phases of the project. Support ranged from practical hands-on involvement; for example assisting Geoff Broadway dismantle his installation in the Old High Church Hall to providing a bridge between the local resident population and artists.

As the project evolved, the group grew in confidence and worked together to promote the projects, initiate events and fundamentally act as a sounding board for the Project Director and the resident artists.
